Then make a committed decision for what you most desire to achieve.
There are many inspiring stories of ordinary people succeeding in extraordinary ways through planning, giving, teaching, following their heart’s desire and intuition. My intention for the reader is to be inspired to implement what they have learned, identify what they love and go after that dream with intention and persistence, always keeping their mind’s eye on their goal.
Accountability and support by a coach or mentor allows a higher probability of following through on that goal to their destination. Who a client becomes in the process of pursuing their goal is the greatest gift of all. Expect growth, expansion, fuller expression and the desire to move on to their next dream. The joy is in the process of moving through the actions to become that person you have imagined. That success you saw in your mind first has become your reality in the present.
About the Author
As a former CT public school music educator of 25 years, I transitioned into life coaching after being introduced to Mary Morrissey’s DreamBuilder coaching certification program. The understanding and awareness gained through the many personal development studies with Mary Morrissey and Bob Proctor has changed my approach to life forever.
There is a lot less negativity that causes obstacles when you learn that you are responsible for your own decisions and how you would like to design your ideal life. Decisiveness, commitment and consistent actions in the direction of my goals and dreams have proven to bring successes in all areas of my life.
When you have your mind in the right frame of thought, you take control with confidence and learn to direct your intention and focus on what you most desire in your spiritual, intellectual and physical reality. I have so much more control over the direction of my life from over 30 years of personal development experience, study and implementation.
Consistent study and implementation of what I have learned have brought changes in my thinking and have culminated in who I am today as a life coach. My intention as a coach is to guide clients on their journey to uncover the discovery of how much more they can expand their existing gifts to fuller expression and lead the lifestyle they most prefer.
On a more personal level, “Music is my lifeline to my soul.” I am an accomplished pianist with an extensive classical repertoire. Performance experience has included: solo recitals, chamber music studies, director of musicals for fourth and fifth grade students, school-wide programs involving as many as 600 students to give every class an opportunity to shine and have a positive onstage experience sharing their gifts with parents, family, friends, their teachers and fellow students. I have also accompanied numerous musicals, Gilbert & Sullivan productions, vocalists and instrumentalists. Playing the organ is a work in progress. The pedals can be a challenge, but add another dimension of sound that shakes the whole church with its lowest vibrations.
On the back cover I share about my husband and two sons who have been the central part of my life for 35 years. Some of my interests include collecting vases, floral arranging, collecting minerals, gems and stones, designing beautiful and colorful salads, cooking ethnic foods, domestic and international travel, studying languages. I enjoy walking the beach, collecting shells and colored sea glass.
My intellectual pursuits include studying science and researching the distinctions and overlap of the analytical and creative minds. The purpose of these studies is to design my upcoming online coaching program specific to musicians and artists: “The Creative Edge and the Artistic Mind.” I love my life!
